Welcome
My name is Scott Lyons. I started teaching at Ledford High School in the Fall of 2023; I teach English II, III, and IV. I hold an MA in English and am committed to helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. In class, students read and analyze a variety of texts, engage in discussions concerning the themes of those texts, and practice clear, confident writing. My goal is to foster a supportive environment that encourages thoughtful questioning and continuous growth.
