Apply to college using Common App or CFNC. 

Complete Residency Determination AND send Transcripts  through CFNC.

Testing

Please be advised that the UNC System universities will not require SAT and ACT test scores on students’ applications for the fall 2026 for students that have a 2.8 GPA or higher. Any student that has a GPA between 2.5 and 2.799 is required to submit a test score (Minimum ACT score of 17 or SAT score of 930). Please check with non-UNC System universities individually for SAT and ACT test scores requirements.

FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Seniors may start the Financial Aid process on October 1, 2025.
