About Me...

My name is Niki Nifong, and I teach both Biology and Honors Biology at Ledford High School.  I was a graduate of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from High Point University in 2002 as well as my teaching license from HPU in 2003.  I then earned a Master's Degree (MEd) in School Administration from Gardner Webb University.  I am a National Board Certified teacher in Life Science for Adolescent and Young Adult Science as well.  I began my teaching career at East Davidson High School where I taught for 5 years before transferring to Ledford to be a proud part of the Panther Nation!!  I am happily married to a Ledford grad, and we have a daughter Alyssa and a son Jase.

My Role at LHS...
In addition to teaching, I am the Junior Class Advisor.  This role gives me the opportunity to host prom as well as to host the Junior Marshal reception for graduation.  I also work with the Junior Executive Committee in a variety of charitable activities throughout the school year.
