The award of an athletic scholarship to a post-secondary school is a rewarding result of a successful high school athletic career. These scholarships are very competitive and requires committment to the sport as well as a committment to demonstrating good character. Playing a high school sport does not automatically make you elible for scholarship opportunities and the coach of your student's sport can best advise the parent of what to expect. Our counselors are familiar with the process used by colleges and universities in their recruitment practices and can also advise.
Any student-athlete which has the chance of being recruited no matter how big the chance needs to familiarize themselves with all the various regulations governing recruits. It is easy to take a misstep somewhere and possibly lose a year of eligibility. The couselors and coaches will be the best source of information.
